Some notes about "The Lobster”

I have liked dystopias all the time. They show us the hidden pain and ugliness behind the truths. this film is a good picture of our recent lives. Our miserable relationship rules and enforcements in our society are clearly seen in the film.

no matter how we live, as couples or alone, the people around compel us to do something
or not to do sth with never stop. we are always stuck in conditionals and choices which restricts our behaviors and feelings. If you live alone, blah blah blah… If you get married, blah blah blah… Some sentences like that!… all the time…

I’m not telling you what happens in the film, (you can search about it or just watch it) but
I’m saying that our modernization doesn’t lead to be free. In fact, while we are trying to destroy some walls, we are building new walls.

These are some remains from the film. By the way, yes, I enjoyed the film;) I advice you
to taste it.

    Distopyaları her zaman sevmişimdir. onlar bize gerçeklerin ardında gizli acıyı ve çirkinliği gösterirler. 
bu film son zamanlardaki hayatlarımızın güzel bir resmi. acınası ilişki kurallarımız ve toplumumuzdaki 
dayatmalarımız filmde açıkça sergileniyor. nasıl yaşadığımız önemli değil, çift olarak veya yalnız,
çevremizdeki insanlar sürekli bizi  birşeyleri yapmaya veya birşeyleri yapmamaya zorluyorlar. Sürekli 

şartlı cümleler ve davranışlarımızı, hislerimizi kısıtlayan secimler içerisine sıkışmış durumdayız. Eğer 

yalnız yaşarsan, falan filan filan… Eğer evlenirsen, falan filan filan… bunun gibi cümleler!.. 
her zaman…
size filmde neler olup bittiğini anlatmıyorum, (onu araştırabilir veya sadece izleyerek öğrenebilirsiniz)  

fakat demem o ki modernleşmemiz özgür olmamıza yol açmadı. aslında bazı duvarları yıkmaya 

çalışırken yeni duvarlar inşa ediyoruz.
